HATILA'S AND BRAZIL'S SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
STARTS TODAY! JUMP BALL VS COLOMBIA AT 18:00 HRS.
After two preparation tournaments in which
Hatila Passos and its Brazilian National Team had to
adjust and find the rhythm for a totally new group of
players, time for serious action starts today at 18:00
hrs. in game 1 vs. Colombia, on TV "life" by ESPN
Brasil. Passos and teammates will be playing one game a day,
facing Chile on the 2nd of July, Argentina on the 3rd,
Venezuela on the 4th and finally Uruguay at 21 h. on the
5th. Finals for the gold, silver and bronze medals to be
played on July 6th.
"I am very excited to have the opportunity to
help my National Team defend their last South American
Championship. We are a group of new players and yet must
gel in to find the right chemistry but we are improving
everyday. I have to get used to a different basketball
than what I was playing in the US". Hatila
said.
